On Saturday 12th August 2006, 12 Green Team volunteers
joined members of the Little Burra community to plant 400 native trees,
shrubs and grasses along the creek on community land

Members of the Little Burra community have spent many
hours attacking the thistles along the creek and with some funding
assistance through the Molonglo River Restoration Project this planting
will complement their existing works and provide habitat and linkages
with the remnant bush in the area.
The planting was followed by a BBQ lunch to thank all
who participated!
